Gernsried am Starnberger See
Collection Buchheim
2007
Carolyn and Barbara in the Park of the Museum. Carolyn had driven us there. It was a beautiful morning.
Buchheim
and his assistants created an ingeneous exhibition space inside the
inadequate building the State of Bavaria put at his disposal.
The
collection encompasses a well-ballanced cross-section of painters
from the Sezession, the Brücke, and the Blaue
Reiter. A unique exhibition well
worth the special detour.
Belligerent Bavarian guards keep you from photographing inside the museum. These few images are from the internet.
