May I introduce Jenny Wood (16), my oldest granddaughter. She was still a high-school student in Atlanta, GA and visiting us (January 2005). I had seen the Chihuly exhibition at Pepperdine University twice and was too lazy to go a third time and try my luck with my camera. When Barbara took Jenny there, I gave her the camera and asked her to take a few pictures for me. She brought back 150 extraordinary images. They do not compete with Dale Chihuly's images on his website - of which neither I nor she knew at the time - but some of them explore the colors and the light of his fantastic creations better than the official ones. I selected the most beautiful images regardless of their not being all crisply sharp - they were taken free-hand - as much a homage to Jenny's eyes as a record of this wonderful exhibition of Chihuly's work - sponsored by Billie Weisman.
